It is important to double-check the Hire Type field on the intake vs what is in Avature. If a req is listed as Internal but the hiring manager states he wants to see external candidates, you must update this field in Avature and always ensure it matches the recruitment type - this is very important to billing.

If a req is opened in one month but the change in Hire Type occurs in the following month (example: req opened end of June, intake occurs and you learn that the req should be internal only during the intake in early July; req was originally internal-only but 2 weeks in hiring manager wants to see external candidates), make the update in Avature and let Amy Brookshire know via email right away so she can adjust billing and either credit or charge the difference.

Notify Amy of the Hire Type change, the reason for the change, date of open, Workday req number.
