Summary

Our mission is to help you realize yours.

For over a decade, ZoomInfo has helped companies achieve their most important objective: profitable growth. Backed by a database that contains over 224 million businesspeople and 9.3 million businesses, our Growth Acceleration Platform dynamically puts sales and marketing professionals in position to identify, connect, and engage with qualified prospects.

WHAT'S IN ZOOMINFO'S DATA?
Marketing and sales professionals know the snowball effect of inaccurate – or incomplete – B2B contact data. Without every piece of information you need to connect, engage, and convert customers, marketing and sales strategies lose effectiveness. Want proof? Studies show that when dialing a list of switchboard numbers, it takes sales professionals 20 dials to connect with one prospect versus 12 dials using direct phone numbers.

WilsonHCG ZoomInfo Trial : 8/7/2017-8/18/2017

Feedback from volunteers:

  • Holiday Retirement : IT roles, limited amount of results, better for general roles?
  • Axon - IT roles, "software developer", skills, minimal results
  • ZoomInfo is best used if you are targeting companies, used heavily by agencies
  • I am currently sourcing for Outside Sales Reps in the California market and have gotten about 970 candidates in my search. Having said that; I have spoken to a few candidates that's not in the job market presently and so far from the voicemail and emails sent, I have not gotten any responses yet.
  • I logged in a few times to try and use it for my roles - General Managers, and Sales positions. I honestly did not have to much luck, but again I was only on for such a short period of time. I do plan to spend more time with it on Monday as well!
  • Honestly, I love how user friendly Zoominfo is but it's really a drag that most of the contact info is work contact info. Because of this, I would be less likely to use the tool.
  • I have been using it and cross-referencing the CNs on LinkedIn and connecting with them there but I currently use Connectifier for that so once again it wouldn't be as useful (especially if it is a paid tool)
  • Pros: Contact information is provided on candidate profile, Can do searches by company, Hyperlinks provided to other social media apps, Great "advanced" filters to help to narrow down search, Able to filter on "Last Updated" date
  • Cons: Specific searches cannot be made for super niche roles, particularly for IT/Engineering roles, A boolean search must be kept broad- which means a lot of profiles pulled up in the search are roughly a 60% match or less, Not enough information is provided per profile to speak of the tech stack and/or the specialty of the candidate on their profile on ZoomInfo. "Employment history" and other details are kept to a minimum. Hyperlinks don't always work, Contact info is not always accurate
  • Kept pulling headquarters phone numbers - Pulling based of head office, but individual was located elsewhere.
  • Mostly used the extension; can get the same exact info Hunter* (only linkedin recruiter - gives email address, gives you a  % of confidence), Prophet (works on indeed, LIR)

MAIN TAKEAWAY: This tool is not best for sourcing - good as a supplement to sourcing,  but the benefit does not seem worth the "cost".
