We build transformative technology so that our client-partners can excel at hiring the right candidate at the right time
About Yello
Yello helps multinational, enterprise companies meet, engage, capture and nurture top candidates. Yello’s transformative talent acquisition technology helps its client-partners excel at hiring the right talent, at the right time. These technologies provide a unique perspective into talent acquisition and the associated key industry metrics and data.
Our History
Recsolu began in 2008 with the idea there was a better way to support large enterprises with event-based recruiting. Since that time, Recsolu grew to support 100+ of clients all over the world including 20 percent of all Fortune 500 companies. In 2015, we rebranded from Recsolu to Yello. The name change was based on two beliefs that: there is a way to humanize the recruiting functions in larger corporations; and our CEO and co-founder, Jason Weingarten’s unique way of answering the phone with a, “yello!”

Overview:
- Started out with untapped campus recruiting space a few years ago – to capture information
- Have tools to collect information, the next step was to be able to take action
- Analytics
- Action items: marketing campaigns, follow up video interview, follow up interview
- Not just campus, but on professional side as well, everything outside of ATS
- Mobile apps – can customize to mirror page
- Will do a lookup if already registered or if already in system
- If not a duplicate, form asks questions to capture data – can be any fields
- Focus on military, etc.
- At a career fair, students walk up, fill in info at a kiosk – and is synced right on ipad, updates with a click/drag
- A complaint with companies who see a lot of students – they don’t want to see students that are out of their profile
- Instead of pulling up resume and asking a lot of questions – with this, click on the particular candidate, and can see if info is of interest
- Then can swipe over and look at resume – either from CN adding or from ATS or can picture capture document
- Can do detailed evaluations
- Often career fairs are more general
- Can run filter by people who you actually saw – can select them, send thank you note/email – can use a template in the system (branding option), and personalized to populate the name
- Analytics: what message is sent, if it’s opened, if it’s part of a campaign, can track click through
- Then can send resumes and comments to Hiring Managers - can send everything or send based on preference
- Talent Communities
- Customizable format and lay out – whether collegiate, military, functional, etc. all work from
- Would automatically transfer info to employer – making it quicker/easier for CNs to fill out – they thought it was a great marketing tool (recpass)
- Favorites Feature: if recurring events – can star it to keep on your home page
- Campus iems
- Staff list – field filter – to choose who you want to capture. Essentially an evite to send to staff members. In the email they can say yes/no, and it auto updates, like evite or Outlook invitation
- Live candidate feed – of CNs that were added/pre-registered, can see totals, filter by profile information
- Can create resume books
- Export to spreadsheet
- Send text messages
- Many options from this field
- New Metrics:
- Automated – view cost per candidate, resumes, where did they sign up (kiosk, text, etc.), interactions had with CNs before the event and can rank career fairs – and can add hiring data back to this
- Tags – can put them in folders and from there can review, send email campaign, resume book, etc.
Configurable:
Implementations are all about configuration
- So far haven’t been doing pictures
- Can invite to learn more about you – video interview component
- One stop – one vendor. Of everything they have to do, outside of ATS. Video, event oriented, executive, professional and campus
