Workday DOs & DON’Ts
Never use checkboxes to move candidate statuses - ALWAYS use the Take Action button on the candidate profile
Always review Workday applicants daily - MAX two days a candidate should sit in “Review”. Disposition or move to Further Review.
Internals should be contacted within 24 hours of applying
All internals should be screened and presented
If building an offer for another recruiter that is out of office, add yourself as a recruiter before touching the candidate in the requisition. (This will make sure you are able to build - otherwise it goes to the person who is out of office)
Do not use Workday to message candidates. This is not consistent for messages being received
Do not send out the offer to the candidate without getting approval from the HRBP for the Offer Letter Draft
When drafting an offer letter, do not edit anything in the fields for Signature or Printed Name (these are used by the Electronic Signature and any edits could cause issues.
