Fortay uses predictive technology for screening and analysis in order to incorporate diversity when scaling. It focuses on aligning candidates values with companies in order to foster healthy workplace environment. It also works to assess employee engagement and diversity and inclusion within your organization.

Once your cultural baseline is set, invite candidates to complete the cultural assessment. We can help automate the process by providing a custom URL that can be embedded in job descriptions, careers page, or an Applicant Tracking System email template.

Idea Behind Product:
- Fortay was created to increase the the quality and efficiency of the candidate pipeline to ensure hired fit the cultural fingerprint of the company.
- They are trying to solve for team misalignment and team ineffectiveness.
- Fortay provides an objective data-driven cultural alignment score (bias free)
Key Outcomes of the Product:
- The product is used in the beginning of the recruitment process to help determine the appropriate candidate.
- The assessment is taken by the internal staff to determine what the company cultural fingerprint is and then that same test is given to the prospective candidates to ensure they are a good cultural fit for the company based on how they score.
- The assessment is administered directly after the application and can take anywhere from 2-7 minutes to complete.
- Allows current coworkers to help pick their future co workers through the assessment that is taken.
They have 3 ways to use the product:
- Cultural Assessments: Used to identify company culture fingerprint
- Employee Engagement: Used by leaders to identify issues or engagement within a team.
- Real-time Polls: Used by anyone to create a poll to determine information.

Customization:
- Fortay allows for customization of the questions but has a library that is already prebuilt, completely bias free that can be utilized.
Implementation Time frame:
- Product is real-time. Once we decided to move forward with the product it can take minutes to set up the first assessment depending on what we are looking for. The cultural baseline usually takes 24-48 hours depending on how quickly the company employees complete the survey and then the data updates automatically as each assessment is taken.
Integration:
- They are only integrated with iCIMS and Greenhouse right now but are willing to integrate with Avature as long as they can get someone to introduce them to the appropriate contact.
- They can also integrate with HRIS systems
Cost:
- Annual subscription is based on company size and number of employees.
- Rough estimate: 500-800 employees it would be roughly $25K a year and access to the entire platform on and unlimited vasis.
Additional Notes:
- The company has never seen an ROI under 14x returned.
- You can do a cultural “reassessment” whenever we wish to but it is only recommended on a yearly basis or when there are significant leadership changes or a change in our companies way of looking at our culture itself.
- When an employee is hired their scores automatically update into the company culture area to be a part of the organization.
- Assessment completion rate is 98% to 100%
- When a candidate takes the assessment you can send the link to the hiring manager or quickly pdf the product so they can ensure a cultural fit as well.
- You can include open ended questions in the assessment if you would like but there would not be a grading system associated with that question. (typically used for deal breakers in the hiring process)
- If there are questions that are not aligning with your culture and are graded “weak” you can remove them from the assessment that the candidates see to make sure the appropriate questions are being asked.
- Not multi lingual right now but they are working on this as a feature

- They will do a 2 week free trial of the cultural assessment portion of the product.
- If we want to look at longer term results we can do a 6 month paid pilot to check out the product results.

Final Recommendation:
- I really liked the idea behind this product and can see where it would be very useful in our hiring process moving forward. Instead of using google to send out surveys and such our leadership teams of all levels would have access to see their overall company culture, their individual team culture and be able to send out surveys to ensure their team is interacting appropriately and engagement is as high as it needs to be. I think this product is worth taking a second look at.
