Summary
Who we are:
Appcastians pride ourselves on being independent and different. We are born of New Hampshire & Belarus – the physical and cultural homes of our founding team. Both of these places seem to hatch people that move to their own drum beat.
Here’s what makes us tick.
First, we like to build things that have value for our clients and where we can see the impact of our personal work. We are focused on doing stuff that matters and letting people see the result of their labor. It’s a simple concept, but incredibly rewarding. Second, we focus on ‘sharing our success.’ This isn’t some hippy commune, ‘free love’ thing… it’s a business strategy. People want, need, and seek out purpose. They want to see that they are valuable.
Feeling your work matters to your clients, family, and community is the foundation of what we try to create at Appcast. We believe it makes a stronger business and a more resolute team… kind of like the Granite in the mountains of our beloved State of NH or the Bison in beautiful Belarus.

- Jobs with a lack of applicants
- ClickCast
- Customers: Cielo, ADP, FutureStep, PeopleScout
- Same candidates - but across much more jobs
- Reduced sourcing efforts
- Appcast Exchange
- Dashboard:
- Publishers
- Secondary job boards that are able to pull the same candidates as the larger job boards at a lower price
- Ability to monitor feed status
- They work with almost all performance based or slot based sites
- Any pay per __ (applicant, click, qualified applicant, etc.) they manage
- Globally - different countries are at different adoption curves
- Coverage in US and Canada
- UK & western europe are growing
- Other countries do not have much of a performance market
- Josh to send list of publishers in technology space
- Any ATS' that do not integrate well? WorkDay, Ultimate Software
- How are the publishers decided upon? Does AppCast make recommendations?
- Any company that does "pay per"
- Indeed,
- Good coverage in US and Canada... working on UK and western Europe
- If we integrate multiple client ATS' does that mean we can pull candidate information from one ATS to another?
- They will all have different pixels and we will be able to manage each clients from one dashboard
- Candidates will be driven back to client ATS
- AppCast does not capture PII
- Campaign management (grouping of jobs and what you want do to with those - example maybe IT jobs only go to certain publishers)
- Can create "boosted" campaigns that jobs can move to if they aren't performing at a specific level
- Monthly payment after performance; can we cap?
- Can budget cap in multiple ways
- At employer level
- At campaign level
- Across multiple campaigns
- At the job level
- Weekly level
- Lifetime (one time post; no month timeframe) or monthly (evergreens)
- Applications would be sent back to client ATS'
- Can limit the campaigns by # of applicants
- Set rules so that we don't spend money on certain jobs unless they've been posted a few days
- To be affective:
- Each client would need to put a tag in the job titles so AppCast knows to pick them up
- Or we can code in the parameters (Ex. only the reqs in the U.S.)
- Or, the most time consuming option, is to manage it req ID by req ID
Trials:
- Doesn't do a trial but rather a contract with an "out"
- Would want to try this with a few clients
Strengths
- Innovative tool with potential cost savings in job board spend
Opportunities
- Little experience with RPO's
- Process shift - leaders or a center of excellence manage postings
