Summary
TimeSaved is a unique mobile solution for recruiters, helping temp agencies and employment agencies fill jobs fast with perfectly matched candidates.
Workers have to download the branded mobile app (iOS and Android) and the client verifies them for work so they can start receiving notifications immediately. Recruiters are able to filter the candidate’s pools by skills, availability and the distance they are willing to travel for work. The potential employee receives a notification when is selected for a job so can immediately accept or decline the job via the app. The App allows to engage candidates via SMS, inmail, e-mail and also GPS tracking to monitor their jobs. All the above allows to spent less time and effort on filtering candidates, tracking them so recruiters can spend more time on building the relationship and completing the business goals.
The company is 4 years old and its focus us building the apps for staffing. It was recognized as one of The GTA’s fastest-growing startups. Their primary focus is to empower staffing and recruiting agencies to manage their talent pools in a quicker and more efficient way. They used to work with light industrial and healthcare industry mostly however they also have another experience.
TimeSaved has an ability yo brand 100% as the client and Time Saved will never be noticeable to the candidate however client and recruiters will still see Time Saved branding on their end through the web application. Also, the mobile app will be labelled. The job and the details that are sent to the candidate are customizable along with the employer branding of the product.
2 platforms available (Mobile & Web Application)
Mobile: On-demand Staffing App (For Candidates and hiring managers)
Candidates:
The application allows candidates to update their hiring preferences 24/7. (availability, location, etc.)
Recruiter sends the candidates the potential job that is available and the candidate accepts or declines the opportunity.
Opportunity to communicate through the in-app communication tool
Hiring Managers:
Complete transparency with the hiring managers on how many of their roles are currently filled, etc.
Opportunity to communicate within the app with the hired employees as needed.
Ability to create new jobs which are then available to the recruiter to process.
Web Application:
Recruiters:
The web application is where the recruiters can communicate and manage their requisitions and candidates.
Allows for a dashboard overview which captures who is available and in what location, skillset, etc.
Implementation Time frame:
Mobile App:
The mobile app takes an average of 8 weeks to create the product to a usable state.
They are basically creating an entire application specifically for the client’s talent pool.
Each client would have to have their own separate instance in order to keep the data separate.
Web Application:
Can be available in a matter of days and available for usage
Candidates need to have a mobile app in order to make the web application useful
Integration:
If the ATS has open API’s then the integration is much easier.
If they do not have open API’s they have to map out all information which will take longer to integrate.
They are not integrated with Avature or iCIMS at this time and are only working with Avant, Bullhorn and eRecruit.
When integrated they map out the workflows to ensure everything is playing in one window for the recruiters to use and the systems are talking to each other automatically.
Cost:
They have never worked with an RPO company in the past so pricing is a little more flexible depending on the need.
Typically pricing is targeted toward staffing agencies and the price based on the build-out o the application.
They also may charge fees due to integrations if the company has an internal system that other clients will not be able to use.
Another way the pricing is by hours of work: This can be anywhere from 5 cents to 30 cents per hour.
No free trial available at this time.
GDPR Compliance:
They currently store their data with Ager which is a Microsoft cloud storage site.
They are not GDPR compliant at this time but that will be released soon.
Additional Notes:
They are not bilingual at this time but do have the ability to translate job descriptions into other languages if needed on a request basis.
Ability to keep time for companies that need to track clock in and clock out and it is geotagged to flag if they are not on-site when doing so.
Have the ability to see the employee in route to their destination to ensure that the employee is showing up for their first day of work. (Location services must be turned on and data is needed for this feature)
Strengths:
For clients that are looking for a solution that can help with deploying candidates in a quick manner, this is a perfect solution.
Ability to communicate via mobile application (free app for candidates)
Company is very flexible and looking for ways to improve which means helping build out the product functionalities is potential here.
Hiring managers have the ability to put in jobs from the ease of their phones which goes directly to our recruiters.
Ability to rank temporary employees based on their performance to see if they would be recommended for future use.
Ability to track candidates on their way to work and are notified of the location.
Weaknesses:
Not GDPR compliant at this time
Application takes roughly 8 weeks to create for each instance
Not multilingual but is something they are working on right now
Overall:
This product might be a good use case for the contingent side of the business. It helps keep track of the current candidate pool and deploy the candidate in a very quick manner.
It also may be useful for the particular roles that are high volume, fast turnaround positions.
I do not recommend it for short term projects as it takes a minimum of 8 weeks to set up
